Breanne Batara

Breanne (proper noun/pronouns: Pinay/she/her) is a second generation Pinay with Seattle roots, a lifelong student of history, an occasional events organizer, and an advocate for community-based collaboration within cultural and artistic institutions. She is currently based in the Bay Area where she has worked with a number of AAPI organizations and museums. Being exposed to the Filipino-American narrative at a young age and having several relatives heavily involved in the community led to her ongoing pursuit of learning and documenting the Filipino-American experience, in addition to uncovering her own ancestral history. I guess you can say she's a collector of stories.
